Labrador Tea (Rhododendron Groenlandicum) is a sub-shrub
present in the tundra, peatlands and forests of North America.
Analgesic, its most known and noted contribution remains its effectiveness
Labrador Tea is also beneficial against pulmonary inflammation.
Very rich in essential oils, it has antiseptic qualities and
antibiotics. In particular, it acts against liver problems by draining
liver and repairing liver tissue. Herbalists will be able to tell you how
use it for more specific therapeutic purposes.
Recent studies tend to show that it also has anti-tumor properties.
Several other studies are currently underway for Labrador Tea.
Small flat however, because of its richness in tannins, high doses or an infusion
prolonged can cause cramps and stomach aches. It is therefore preferable not to
infuse it for more than 15 minutes and limit its consumption to 1 infusion per day.
Pregnant women should not use it.
